IMPACT PRODUCING SERVICES
The Wild Texas Film Tour was a multi-city, statewide conservation-focused tour that showcased a curated program of short films related to Texas wildlife, outdoor adventure, and conservation efforts. Co-founded and produced by Hillary Pierce and filmmaker Ben Masters, the tour paired these films with special guest speakers, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions to engage local communities in conversations about conservation and the natural environment in Texas.
What I Offer as an Impact Producer:
As an Impact Producer, I offer a comprehensive approach to designing and executing campaigns that resonate with audiences and drive meaningful change. I bring together strategic partnerships, develop tailored educational resources, and organize community screenings that foster engagement and dialogue. My experience includes securing sponsorships from brands like Patagonia, YETI, Prana, and Fjallraven to support campaign elements such as venues and marketing. I also have a strong track record of collaborating with organizations like the International Documentary Association, The Sierra Club, The Audubon Society, The Nature Conservancy, Defenders of Wildlife, Bat Conservation International, and American Rivers.
Whether it’s guiding a film through Congress or mobilizing grassroots movements, I’m dedicated to maximizing the impact of each project I work on, ensuring that the story we tell translates into real-world action.
The panel discussion after the private preview screening of The River and the Wall at the Eaton Hotel on December 5th. Moderated by President Jason Grumet of the Bipartisan Policy Center, the panel featured Sen. Tom Udall, Rep. Will Hurd, Rep. Beto O'Rourke, Ben Masters, and myself. This special event brought together legislators and influencers to delve into the film's themes and their broader implications for policy and conservation along the Texas-Mexico border.
For those who may not be familiar, an Impact Producer plays a crucial role in the life of a documentary beyond its release. While a film can be a powerful storytelling tool, an Impact Producer ensures that the story reaches the right audiences and drives meaningful change. This role involves designing and executing campaigns that extend the documentary’s influence into education, policy, and community action, turning the film from a passive viewing experience into a catalyst for real-world impact.
